ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dennis Hong - Roboticist
Dennis Hong is the founder and director of RoMeLa -- a Virginia Tech robotics lab that has pioneered several breakthroughs in robot design and engineering.

Why you should listen

As director of a groundbreaking robotics lab, Dennis Hong guides his team of students through projects on robot locomotion and mechanism design, creating award-winning humanoid robots like DARwIn (Dynamic Anthropomorphic Robot with Intelligence). His team is known as RoMeLa (Robotics & Mechanisms Laboratory) and operates at Virginia Tech.

Hong has also pioneered various innovations in soft-body robots, using a “whole-skin locomotion” as inspired by amoebae. Marrying robotics with biochemistry, he has been able to generate new types of motion with these ingenious forms. For his contributions to the field, Hong was selected as a NASA Summer Faculty Fellow in 2005, given the CAREER award by the National Science Foundation in 2007 and in 2009, named as one of Popular Science's Brilliant 10. He is also a gourmet chef and a magician, performing shows for charity and lecturing on the science of magic.

So, the first robotrobot to talk about is calledriep STriDERSTriDER.

00:18
It standsstands for Self-excitedZelf opgewonden

Tripedal Dynamic Experimental Robot.
00:22
It's a robotrobot that has threedrie legsbenen,
3
7000
2000
Het is een robot met 3 poten,
00:24
whichwelke is inspiredgeinspireerd by naturenatuur.
4
9000
3000
geïnspireerd op de natuur.
00:27
But have you seengezien anything in naturenatuur,
5
12000
2000
Maar heb je ooit in de natuur
00:29
an animaldier that has threedrie legsbenen?
6
14000
2000
een dier gezien dat drie poten heeft?
00:31
ProbablyWaarschijnlijk not. So, why do I call this
7
16000
2000
Waarschijnlijk niet. Waarom noem ik dit
00:33
a biologicallybiologisch inspiredgeinspireerd robotrobot? How would it work?
8
18000
2000
een biologisch geïnspireerde robot? Hoe zou dat werken?
00:35
But before that, let's look at popknal culturecultuur.
9
20000
3000
00:38
So, you know H.G. Wells'Wells "WarOorlog of the WorldsWerelden," novelroman and moviefilm.
10
23000
3000
Jullie kennen vast H.G. Wells' boek 'War of the Worlds' en de daarop gebaseerde film.
00:41
And what you see over here is a very popularpopulair
11
26000
2000
00:43
videovideo- gamespel,
12
28000
2000
videospel.
00:45
and in this fictionfictie they describebeschrijven these alienvreemdeling creaturesschepsels that
13
30000
3000
Hier worden die buitenaardse wezens beschreven
00:48
are robotsrobots that have threedrie legsbenen that terrorizeterroriseren EarthAarde.
14
33000
2000
00:50
But my robotrobot, STriDERSTriDER, does not moveverhuizing like this.
15
35000
4000
Maar mijn robot, STriDER, beweegt niet zo.
00:54
So, this is an actualwerkelijk dynamicdynamisch simulationsimulatie animationanimatie.
16
39000
3000
Dit is een actuele dynamische simulatie-animatie.
00:57
I'm just going to showtonen you how the robotrobot workswerken.
17
42000
2000
00:59
It flipsDeze methode spiegelt its bodylichaam 180 degreesgraden
18
44000
3000
01:02
and it swingsschommels its legbeen betweentussen the two legsbenen and catchesvangsten the fallvallen.
19
47000
3000
01:05
So, that's how it walkswandelingen. But when you look at us
20
50000
2000
Zo loopt hij. Maar als je naar ons
01:07
humanmenselijk beingwezen, bipedaltweevoetige walkingwandelen,
21
52000
2000
menselijk tweebenig lopen kijkt,
01:09
what you're doing is you're not really usinggebruik makend van a musclespier
22
54000
2000
zie je dat je geen spieren gebruikt
01:11
to liftlift your legbeen and walklopen like a robotrobot. Right?
23
56000
3000
01:14
What you're doing is you really swingschommel your legbeen and catchvangst the fallvallen,
24
59000
3000
01:17
standstand up again, swingschommel your legbeen and catchvangst the fallvallen.
25
62000
3000
01:20
You're usinggebruik makend van your built-iningebouwde dynamicsdynamica, the physicsfysica of your bodylichaam,
26
65000
3000
01:23
just like a pendulumSlinger.
27
68000
2000
net als een slinger.
01:25
We call that the conceptconcept of passivepassief dynamicdynamisch locomotionmotoriek.
28
70000
4000
01:29
What you're doing is, when you standstand up,
29
74000
2000
Bij elke uitzwaai van je been wordt
01:31
potentialpotentieel energyenergie to kinetickinetische energyenergie,
30
76000
2000
potentiële energie omgezet naar kinetische energie,
01:33
potentialpotentieel energyenergie to kinetickinetische energyenergie.
31
78000
2000
potentiële energie naar kinetische energie.
01:35
It's a constantlyvoortdurend fallingvallend processwerkwijze.
32
80000
2000
Het is een continu valproces.
01:37
So, even thoughhoewel there is nothing in naturenatuur that lookslooks like this,
33
82000
3000
01:40
really, we were inspiredgeinspireerd by biologybiologie
34
85000
2000
waren we geinspireerd door de biologie
01:42
and applyingtoepassen the principlesprincipes of walkingwandelen
35
87000
2000
01:44
to this robotrobot. ThusDus it's a biologicallybiologisch inspiredgeinspireerd robotrobot.
36
89000
3000
01:47
What you see over here, this is what we want to do nextvolgende.
37
92000
2000
01:49
We want to foldvouwen up the legsbenen and shootschieten it up for long-rangelangeafstand motionbeweging.
38
94000
4000
01:53
And it deploysimplementeert legsbenen -- it lookslooks almostbijna like "StarSter WarsOorlogen" --
39
98000
3000
01:56
when it landslandt, it absorbsabsorbeert the shockschok and startsstarts walkingwandelen.
40
101000
3000
01:59
What you see over here, this yellowgeel thing, this is not a deathdood rayRay. (LaughterGelach)
41
104000
3000
02:02
This is just to showtonen you that if you have camerascamera's
42
107000
2000
02:04
or differentverschillend typestypes of sensorssensors --
43
109000
2000
of verschillende soorten sensors
02:06
because it is talllang, it's 1.8 metersmeter talllang --
44
111000
2000
door zijn grootte van 1,8 meter
02:08
you can see over obstaclesobstakels like bushesstruiken and those kindssoorten of things.
45
113000
3000
02:11
So we have two prototypesprototypes.
46
116000
2000
We hebben dus twee prototypes.
02:13
The first versionversie, in the back, that's STriDERSTriDER I.
47
118000
3000
De eerste versie, achterin, dat is STriDER I.
02:16
The one in frontvoorkant, the smallerkleiner, is STriDERSTriDER IIII.
48
121000
2000
02:18
The problemprobleem that we had with STriDERSTriDER I is
49
123000
2000
Het probleem met STriDER I was
02:20
it was just too heavyzwaar in the bodylichaam. We had so manyveel motorsmotoren,
50
125000
3000
dat het lijf te zwaar was. We hadden teveel motoren
02:23
you know, aligninguitlijnen the jointsgewrichten, and those kindssoorten of things.
51
128000
2000
02:25
So, we decidedbeslist to synthesizesynthetiseren a mechanicalmechanisch mechanismmechanisme
52
130000
4000
We besloten een mechanisme te maken
02:29
so we could get ridbevrijden of all the motorsmotoren, and with a singlesingle motormotor
53
134000
3000
02:32
we can coordinatecoördinaat all the motionsontwerp-resoluties.
54
137000
2000
om alle bewegingen te coördineren.
02:34
It's a mechanicalmechanisch solutionoplossing to a problemprobleem, insteadin plaats daarvan of usinggebruik makend van mechatronicsMechatronica.
55
139000
3000
02:37
So, with this now the toptop bodylichaam is lightlicht enoughgenoeg. So, it's walkingwandelen in our lablaboratorium;
56
142000
3000
02:40
this was the very first successfulgeslaagd stepstap.
57
145000
3000
Dit was de allereerste succesvolle stap.
02:43
It's still not perfectedgeperfectioneerd -- its coffeekoffie fallsfalls down --
58
148000
2000
Het is nog niet perfect. Hij morst de koffie,
02:45
so we still have a lot of work to do.
59
150000
3000
het werk is nog niet af.
02:48
The secondtweede robotrobot I want to talk about is calledriep IMPASSIMPASS.
60
153000
3000
02:51
It standsstands for IntelligentIntelligente MobilityMobiliteit PlatformPlatform with ActuatedBediend SpokeSprak SystemSysteem.
61
156000
4000
Dat staat voor Intelligent Mobility Platform met Actuated Spoke System.
02:55
So, it's a wheel-legwiel-been hybridhybride robotrobot.
62
160000
3000
Het is dus een wiel-poot-hybride robot.
02:58
So, think of a rimlessmontuurloze wheelwiel
63
163000
2000
Denk aan een wiel zonder velg
03:00
or a spokespaak wheelwiel,
64
165000
2000
of een spaakwiel.
03:02
but the spokesspaken individuallyindividueel moveverhuizing in and out of the hubnaaf;
65
167000
3000
03:05
so, it's a wheel-legwiel-been hybridhybride.
66
170000
2000
Daarom is het een wiel-poot-hybride.
03:07
We are literallyletterlijk re-inventingopnieuw uitvinden the wheelwiel here.
67
172000
2000
03:09
Let me demonstratetonen how it workswerken.
68
174000
3000
Laat me demonstreren hoe het werkt.
03:12
So, in this videovideo- we're usinggebruik makend van an approachnadering
69
177000
2000
In deze video gebruiken we een benadering
03:14
calledriep the reactivereactieve approachnadering.
70
179000
2000
die de reactieve benadering heet.
03:16
Just simplyeenvoudigweg usinggebruik makend van the tactiletactiele sensorssensors on the feetvoeten,
71
181000
3000
03:19
it's tryingproberen to walklopen over a changingveranderen terrainterrein,
72
184000
2000
03:21
a softzacht terrainterrein where it pushesduwt down and changesveranderingen.
73
186000
3000
03:24
And just by the tactiletactiele informationinformatie,
74
189000
2000
Enkel door de tactiele informatie
03:26
it successfullymet succes crosseskruisen over these typetype of terrainterrein.
75
191000
3000
03:29
But, when it encountersontmoetingen a very extremeextreem terrainterrein,
76
194000
4000
03:33
in this casegeval, this obstacleobstakel is more than threedrie timestijden
77
198000
3000
03:36
the heighthoogte of the robotrobot,
78
201000
2000
de hoogte van de robot,
03:38
Then it switchesswitches to a deliberateberaadslagen modemode,
79
203000
2000
dan schakelt hij naar een doelbewuste stand
03:40
where it usestoepassingen a laserlaser rangereeks finderFinder,
80
205000
2000
waarbij hij een laser-afstandsmeter en
03:42
and cameracamera systemssystemen, to identifyidentificeren the obstacleobstakel and the sizegrootte,
81
207000
2000
03:44
and it plansplannen, carefullyvoorzichtig plansplannen the motionbeweging of the spokesspaken
82
209000
3000
03:47
and coordinatescoördinaten it so that it can showtonen this
83
212000
2000
en coördineert ze, zodat hij
03:49
kindsoort of very very impressiveindrukwekkend mobilitymobiliteit.
84
214000
2000
deze zeer indrukwekkende mobiliteit kan laten zien.
03:51
You probablywaarschijnlijk haven'thebben niet seengezien anything like this out there.
85
216000
2000
03:53
This is a very highhoog mobilitymobiliteit robotrobot
86
218000
3000
Dit is een zeer mobiele robot die
03:56
that we developedontwikkelde calledriep IMPASSIMPASS.
87
221000
3000
we hebben ontwikkeld, IMPASS genaamd.
03:59
AhAh, isn't that coolkoel?
88
224000
2000
Is hij niet cool?
04:01
When you driverijden your carauto,
89
226000
3000
Als je autorijdt, je auto bestuurt,
04:04
when you steersturen your carauto, you use a methodmethode
90
229000
2000
gebruik je een methode die
04:06
calledriep AckermannAckermann steeringstuurinrichting.
91
231000
2000
Ackermann-sturing heet.
04:08
The frontvoorkant wheelswielen rotatedraaien like this.
92
233000
2000
De voorwielen draaien zo.
04:10
For mostmeest smallklein wheeledop wielen robotsrobots,
93
235000
3000
Voor de meeste kleine robots met wielen
04:13
they use a methodmethode calledriep differentialdifferentiaal steeringstuurinrichting
94
238000
2000
wordt differentieelbesturing gebruikt
04:15
where the left and right wheelwiel turnsbochten the oppositetegenover directionrichting.
95
240000
3000
04:18
For IMPASSIMPASS, we can do manyveel, manyveel differentverschillend typestypes of motionbeweging.
96
243000
3000
04:21
For examplevoorbeeld, in this casegeval, even thoughhoewel the left and right wheelwiel is connectedaangesloten
97
246000
3000
04:24
with a singlesingle axleas rotatingroterende at the samedezelfde anglehoek of velocitysnelheid.
98
249000
2000
met dezelfde hoeksnelheid zijn verbonden.
04:26
We just simplyeenvoudigweg changeverandering the lengthlengte of the spokespaak.
99
251000
3000
04:29
It affectsbeïnvloedt the diameterdiameter and then can turnbeurt to the left, turnbeurt to the right.
100
254000
2000
04:31
So, these are just some examplesvoorbeelden of the neatnetjes things
101
256000
2000
04:33
that we can do with IMPASSIMPASS.
102
258000
3000
die we met IMPASS kunnen doen.
04:36
This robotrobot is calledriep CLIMBeRKlimmer:
103
261000
2000
Deze robot heet CLIMBeR,
04:38
Cable-suspendedKabel-geschorst LimbedTandvorming IntelligentIntelligente MatchingMatching BehaviorGedrag RobotRobot.
104
263000
3000
Cable-suspended Limbed Intelligent Matching Behavior Robot.
04:41
So, I've been talkingpratend to a lot of NASANASA JPLJPL scientistswetenschappers --
105
266000
3000
Ik heb veel NASA JPL-wetenschappers gesproken,
04:44
at JPLJPL they are famousberoemd for the MarsMars roversRovers --
106
269000
2000
04:46
and the scientistswetenschappers, geologistsgeologen always tell me
107
271000
2000
De wetenschappers en geologen vertellen me altijd
04:48
that the realecht interestinginteressant sciencewetenschap,
108
273000
3000
dat de interessantste plekken voor de wetenschap
04:51
the science-richwetenschap-rijk sitesplaatsen, are always at the cliffskliffen.
109
276000
3000
altijd bij de kliffen liggen.
04:54
But the currentactueel roversRovers cannotkan niet get there.
110
279000
2000
04:56
So, inspiredgeinspireerd by that we wanted to buildbouwen a robotrobot
111
281000
2000
Daardoor geïnspireerd wilden we een robot maken
04:58
that can climbbeklimmen a structuredgestructureerde cliffCliff environmentmilieu.
112
283000
3000
05:01
So, this is CLIMBeRKlimmer.
113
286000
2000
Dit is CLIMBeR.
05:03
So, what it does, it has threedrie legsbenen. It's probablywaarschijnlijk difficultmoeilijk to see,
114
288000
2000
Hij heeft drie poten. Misschien moeilijk te zien,
05:05
but it has a winchLier and a cablekabel at the toptop --
115
290000
3000
05:08
and it triesprobeert to figurefiguur out the bestbeste placeplaats to put its footvoet.
116
293000
2000
05:10
And then onceeen keer it figuresfiguren that out
117
295000
2000
Als hij dat heeft uitgevist,
05:12
in realecht time, it calculatesberekent the forcedwingen distributiondistributie:
118
297000
3000
berekent hij in realtime de krachtverdeling
05:15
how much forcedwingen it needsbehoefte aan to exertoefenen to the surfaceoppervlak
119
300000
3000
05:18
so it doesn't tiptip and doesn't slipuitglijden.
120
303000
2000
05:20
OnceEenmaal it stabilizesstabiliseert that, it liftsliften a footvoet,
121
305000
2000
05:22
and then with the winchLier it can climbbeklimmen up these kindssoorten of thing.
122
307000
4000
05:26
AlsoOok for searchzoeken and rescueredden applicationstoepassingen as well.
123
311000
2000
Ook geschikt voor reddingsoperaties.
05:28
FiveVijf yearsjaar agogeleden I actuallywerkelijk workedwerkte at NASANASA JPLJPL

08:48
This was more of a feasibilityhaalbaarheid studystudie:

Het was meer een haalbaarheidsstudie:
08:50
What kindsoort of motorsmotoren should we use?
201

wat voor soort motoren moeten we gebruiken?
08:52
Is it even possiblemogelijk? What kindssoorten of controlscontrols should we do?
202
517000
2000
Is het zelfs mogelijk? Welke controles moeten we doen?
08:54
So, this does not have any sensorssensors.

Wat is het geheim van ons succes?
11:56
Where do we come up with these ideasideeën?

Waar vinden we deze ideeën?
11:58
How do we developontwikkelen these kindssoorten of ideasideeën?

703000
2000
Hoe ontwikkelen we dit soort ideeën?

12:12
And manyveel, manyveel other roboticsRobotica projectsprojecten I want to talk about.

These are just the awardsawards that we wonwon in 2007 fallvallen

bij roboticawedstrijden en dat soort dingen.
12:21
So, really, we have fivevijf secretsgeheimen.
283
726000
2000
We hebben vijf geheimen.
12:23
First is: Where do we get inspirationinspiratie?
284
728000
2000
Het eerste is: waar halen we inspiratie vandaan?
12:25
Where do we get this sparkvonk of imaginationverbeelding?
285
730000
2000
Vanwaar deze vonk van verbeelding?
12:27
This is a truewaar storyverhaal, my personalpersoonlijk storyverhaal.
286
732000
3000
12:30
At night when I go to bedbed, 3 - 4 a.m. in the morningochtend-,
287
735000
2000
12:32
I lieliggen down, closedichtbij my eyesogen, and I see these lineslijnen and circlescirkels
288
737000
3000
12:35
and differentverschillend shapesvormen floatingdrijvend around.
289
740000
2000
en verschillende vormen rondzweven.
12:37
And they assemblemonteren, and they formformulier these kindssoorten of mechanismsmechanismen.
290
742000
3000
12:40
And then I think, "AhAh this is coolkoel."
291
745000
2000
Dan denk ik: "Ach, dat is cool."
12:42
So, right nextvolgende to my bedbed I keep a notebookNotebook,
292
747000
2000
Naast mijn bed ligt een aantekenboekje,
12:44
a journaldagboek, with a specialspeciaal penpen that has a lightlicht on it, LED lightlicht,
293
749000
3000
met een speciale pen met LED verlichting,
12:47
because I don't want to turnbeurt on the lightlicht and wakewekken up my wifevrouw.
294
752000
2000
12:49
So, I see this, scribbleKrabbel everything down, drawtrek things,
295
754000
2000
Ik teken alles op wat ik zie
12:51
and I go to bedbed.
296
756000
2000
en ga weer slapen.
12:53
EveryElke day in the morningochtend-,
297
758000
2000
En 's morgens,
12:55
the first thing I do before my first cupkop of coffeekoffie,
298
760000
2000
12:57
before I brushborstel my teethtanden, I openOpen my notebookNotebook.
299
762000
2000
voordat ik mijn tanden poets, is in mijn aantekenboekje kijken.
12:59
ManyVeel timestijden it's emptyleeg,
300
764000
2000
Meestal is het leeg,
13:01
sometimessoms I have something there -- if something'ser is iets there, sometimessoms it's junkrommel --
301
766000
2000
13:03
but mostmeest of the time I can't even readlezen my handwritinghandschrift.
302
768000
3000
13:06
And so, 4 am in the morningochtend-, what do you expectverwachten, right?
303
771000
3000
13:09
So, I need to decipherontcijferen what I wroteschreef.
304
774000
2000
Ik moet ontcijferen wat ik schreef.
13:11
But sometimessoms I see this ingeniousvernuftig ideaidee in there,
305
776000
3000
13:14
and I have this eurekaEureka momentmoment.
306
779000
2000
en heb ik een eureka-belevenis.
13:16
I directlydirect runrennen to my home officekantoor, sitzitten at my computercomputer,
307
781000
2000
13:18
I typetype in the ideasideeën, I sketchschetsen things out
308
783000
2000
typ de ideeën uit, maak tekeningen
13:20
and I keep a databasedatabank of ideasideeën.
309
785000
3000
en houd alles bij in een ideeëndatabase.
13:23
So, when we have these callscalls for proposalsvoorstellen,
310
788000
2000
Als we vragen voor toepassingen krijgen,
13:25
I try to find a matchbij elkaar passen betweentussen my
311

probeer ik overeenkomsten te vinden
13:27

312
792000
2000
tussen potentiële ideeën en het probleem.
13:29
and the problemprobleem. If there is a matchbij elkaar passen we writeschrijven a researchOnderzoek proposalvoorstel,
313
794000
2000
13:31
get the researchOnderzoek fundingfinanciering in, and that's how we startbegin our researchOnderzoek programsprogramma's.
314
796000
4000
voor de financiering ervan. Zo beginnen we onze onderzoeksprogramma's.
13:35
But just a sparkvonk of imaginationverbeelding is not good enoughgenoeg.
315
800000
3000
13:38
How do we developontwikkelen these kindssoorten of ideasideeën?
316
803000
2000
Hoe ontwikkelen we dit soort ideeën?
13:40
At our lablaboratorium RoMeLaRoMeLa, the RoboticsRobotica and MechanismsMechanismen LaboratoryLaboratorium,
317
805000
3000
Bij ons lab RoMeLa, het Robotica en Mechanismen Laboratorium,
13:43
we have these fantasticfantastisch brainstormingbrainstorming sessionssessies.
318
808000
3000
hebben we deze fantastische brainstormsessies.
13:46
So, we gatherverzamelen around, we discussbespreken about problemsproblemen
319
811000
2000
We komen bij elkaar, bespreken de problemen,
13:48
and socialsociaal problemsproblemen and talk about it.
320
813000
2000
ook de sociale problemen.
13:50
But before we startbegin we setreeks this goldengouden ruleregel.
321
815000
3000
Maar voordat we beginnen,
13:53
The ruleregel is:
322
818000
2000
leggen we een gouden regel vast:
13:55
NobodyNiemand criticizesbekritiseert anybody'siedereen is ideasideeën.
323
820000
3000
'Bekritiseer niemands ideeën.
13:58
NobodyNiemand criticizesbekritiseert any opinionmening.
324
823000
2000
Bekritiseer geen enkel uitgebracht advies.'
14:00
This is importantbelangrijk, because manyveel timestijden studentsstudenten, they fearangst
325
825000
2000
Dat is belangrijk, omdat studenten vaak vrezen
14:02
or they feel uncomfortableongemakkelijk how othersanderen mightmacht think
326
827000
3000
14:05
about theirhun opinionsmeningen and thoughtsgedachten.
327
830000
2000
over hun meningen en gedachten.
14:07
So, onceeen keer you do this, it is amazingverbazingwekkend
328
832000
2000
Zodra je dit doet, is het verbazingwekkend
14:09
how the studentsstudenten openOpen up.
329
834000
2000
hoe de leerlingen ontdooien.
14:11
They have these wackyWacky, coolkoel, crazygek, brilliantbriljant ideasideeën, and
330
836000
3000
14:14
the wholegeheel roomkamer is just electrifiedstroomstoten with creativecreatief energyenergie.
331
839000
3000
14:17
And this is how we developontwikkelen our ideasideeën.
332
842000
3000
Zo ontwikkelen we onze ideeën.
14:20
Well, we're runninglopend out of time. One more thing I want to talk about is,
333
845000
3000
Mijn tijd raakt op. Nog een ding waarover ik wil praten,
14:23
you know, just a sparkvonk of ideaidee and developmentontwikkeling is not good enoughgenoeg.
334
848000
4000
14:27
There was a great TEDTED momentmoment,
335
852000
2000
Er was ooit een groot TED-moment

I think it was SirSir KenKen RobinsonRobinson, was it?
336
854000

He gavegaf a talk about how educationonderwijs

338

en de school de creativiteit doden.
14:36
Well, actuallywerkelijk, there are two sideszijden to the storyverhaal.
339
861000
3000
14:39
So, there is only so much one can do
340
864000
3000
Met alleen maar ingenieuze ideeën,
14:42
with just ingeniousvernuftig ideasideeën
341
867000

14:56
we need more than that. This is where schoolschool- comeskomt in.
347
881000
3000

15:20
These are all the toolsgereedschap that we need.
356
905000

15:22
So, the more toolsgereedschap you have, for BatmanBatman,

Hoe meer gereedschap Batman heeft,

359
911000

15:30
So, educationonderwijs is very importantbelangrijk.
360
915000
3000
Ja, onderwijs is erg belangrijk.
15:33
AlsoOok, it's not about that,
361
918000

Maar daar gaat het niet over,
15:35
only about that. You alsoook have to work really, really hardhard.
362
920000
2000
tenminste niet alleen daarover. Je moet ook echt, echt hard werken.
15:37
So, I always tell my studentsstudenten,
