3163
07:27
And I came來了 to in the morning早上.
143
431886
4318
07:32
Out of anesthetic麻藥, he had let them know
144
436204

07:33
that he wanted to be there, and he had given特定 me

07:40
So he was there when I woke醒來 up,

07:42
and it was, waking醒來 up was like
148

2161

07:50
It was that enveloping

worse更差 than anything I'd ever felt,
152
461268

07:58
and it was my instep腳背,
153
462741
1406
08:00
and he was holding保持 the arch of my foot腳丫子

and rubbing the instep腳背 with his thumb拇指.
155
467893
3868
08:07
And I looked看著 up, and he's like,
156
471761
2936
08:10
"Good to see you,"
157

08:11
and I was trying to remember記得 what had happened發生

08:15
and trying to get my head around everything,
159
479754
1718
08:17
and the pain疼痛 was just overwhelming壓倒, and he said,
160
481472
4057
08:21
"You know, we didn't cut your hair頭髮. I thought

08:31
And in those days, my hair頭髮 was down to my waist腰部,

08:35
I drove開車 a motorcycle摩托車, I was unmarried未婚,

I had three days of life support支持,
168
510210
2972

09:19
He had three or four friends朋友 with him,

09:21
and he does that, and they all look,
181

09:23
and there was no infection感染,

09:54
later後來 on, when I got out
194
578702
2611
09:57
and the flashbacks倒敘 and the

nightmares噩夢 were giving me a hard time,
196
586925
4505
10:07
I went back to him
197
591430
1682
10:09
and I was sort分類 of asking him,
198
593112
3893
10:12
you know, what am I gonna do?
199
597005
2181
10:15
And I think, kind of, as a surgeon外科醫生, he basically基本上 said,
200
599186
4608
10:19
"Kid小子, I saved保存 your life.
201
603794
1726

10:25
It's like I gave you a new car

10:29
Like, just, go out, and, you know, do your best最好.
206
613960
3601
10:33
But you're alive. That's what it's about."
207
617561
4806
10:38
And then I hear, "Bing-bong秉奉," and the subway地鐵 doors
208
622367
5781

10:50
and I go, I think to myself,
210
634387
1869
10:52
"I'm going to lift電梯 my shirt襯衫 up
211
636256
1562
10:53
and show顯示 them," — (Laughter笑聲) —
212
637818

10:55
and then I think, "No, this is the New York紐約 City subway地鐵,
213
639435
2229
10:57
that's going to lead to other things." (Laughter笑聲)
214
641664
3631
11:01
And so I just think, they got their lecture演講 to go to.
