02:05
(Laughter
45
110000
2000
02:07
So now I'm in front面前 of one of my favorite喜愛 paintings繪畫,
46
112000
3000
02:10
"The Harvesters收割機" by Pieter彼得 Bruegel勃魯蓋爾 at the Met會見.
47
115000
2000
02:12
I see this plus sign
48
117000

54
130000
2000
02:27
in what we call gigapixel千兆像素 technology技術.
55
132000
2000
02:29
So this image圖片, for example,
56
134000
2000
02:31
has close to, I think, around 10 billion十億 pixels像素.
57
136000
2000
02:33
And I get a lot of people asking me:
58
138000
2000
02:35
"What do you get for 10 billion十億 pixels像素?"
59
140000
2000
02:37
So I'm going to try and show顯示 you what you really get for 10 billion十億 pixels像素.

02:47
But then you really want to go deep.
64
152000
2000
02:49
And so I started開始 playing播放 around,
65
154000
2000
02:51
and I found發現 something going on over here.
66
156000
3000
02:54
And I was like, "Hold保持 on. That sounds聲音 interesting有趣."
67
159000
3000
02:57
Went in, and I started開始 noticing注意到
68
162000
2000
02:59
that these kids孩子 were actually其實 beating跳動 something.
69
164000
3000

03:05
and actually其實 found發現 out that this is a game遊戲
71
170000
2000
03:07
called squall,
72
172000
2000
03:09
which哪一個 involves涉及 beating跳動 a goose with a stick
73
174000
2000
03:13
And apparently顯然地 it was quite相當 popular流行.
75
178000
2000
03:15
I don't know why they did it,
76
180000
2000
03:17
but I learned學到了 something about it.
77
182000
2000
03:19
Now just to get really deep in, you can really get to the cracks
78
184000
3000
03:22
Now just to give you some perspective透視,
79
187000
2000
03:24
I'm going to zoom放大 out so you really see what you get.
80
189000
3000
03:27
Here is where we were,
81
192000
2000
03:29
and this is the painting繪畫.
82
194000
3000
03:32
(Applause
83
197000
8000
03:40
The best最好 is yet然而 to come -- so in a second第二.
84
205000
3000
03:43
So now let's just quickly很快
85
208000
2000
03:45
jump into the MoMA紐約現代藝術博物館, again in New York紐約.
86
210000
3000
03:48

03:50
Now the example I showed顯示 you was all about finding發現 details細節.
88
215000
3000

03:55
And what if you want to see
90
220000

94
229000
3000
04:07
This is "The Starry星夜 Night,"

05:11
And the biggest最大 question I get asked nowadays如今
123
296000
2000
05:13
is, "Did you do this
124
298000
