05:38
So it's about 100 millionمیلیون cancerسرطان cellsسلول ها,
125

05:40
and let me make sure

Now, if that seemedبه نظر می رسید to you

05:58
This is in fact

06:12
So we're clearly

138
360360

06:14
So we're going to playبازی

139
362400

06:16
I'm going to askپرسیدن eachهر یک of you

06:21
And you guys are now at an operatingعامل roomاتاق,

144

06:31
So you're looking down at the patient

the skinپوست and the skullجمجمه

06:37
so you're looking at the brainمغز.
147

06:38
And all you know about this patientصبور
148

06:40
is that there's a tumorتومور

06:47
So you're looking down, and unfortunately
everything looksبه نظر می رسد the sameیکسان,

06:55

07:10
And as you're takingگرفتن the tumorتومور out,

09:23
And while he's doing that,

09:39
The niceخوب thing
is that these goldطلا particlesذرات

09:47
So now we can see the tumor
224
575000

09:48
but we're not showingنشان دادن this

10:22
And so the doctorدکتر tookگرفت them away,

10:25
the cancerسرطان is now completelyبه صورت کامل goneرفته.
241
613640
2016
10:27
Now, the importantمهم thing
242
615680
1376
10:29
is that it's not just
that the cancerسرطان is completelyبه صورت کامل goneرفته
243
617080
2620
10:31
from this person'sفردی brainمغز,

10:35
The mostاکثر importantمهم thing
246
623160
1256
10:36
is that we did not have to take

247
624440
2896

10:40
And so now we can actuallyدر واقع imagineتصور کن a worldجهان

10:51
Now, here'sاینجاست why it's extremelyفوق العاده importantمهم
to take those tinyکوچک little leftoverپس مانده غذا tumorsتومورها.
253
639520
3936
even if it's just a handfulتعداد انگشت شماری of cellsسلول ها,
254

11:03
In factواقعیت, the reasonدلیل why 80 to 90 percentدرصد

11:15
So this is clearlyبه وضوح very niceخوب,
261
663440

11:21
And so in my labآزمایشگاه at Stanfordاستنفورد,

11:29
And I think where
medicalپزشکی imagingتصویربرداری is headingعنوان to
265
677600

11:32
is the abilityتوانایی to look into the humanانسان bodyبدن

so we can actuallyدر واقع do something about it.
270
691680

11:48
An abilityتوانایی to see eachهر یک and everyهرکدام one

So in the lab
we are now gettingگرفتن to a pointنقطه
