00:25
And I'll quoteidézet threehárom people:

Fussunk csak végig ezeken a férfiakon.
00:32
This is VannevarVannevar BushBush.
7
17000
2000
Ez Vannevar Bush.
00:34
VannevarVannevar BushBush was the U.S. government'skormány chief scientifictudományos advisertanácsadó duringalatt the warháború.
8
19000
3000
00:37
And in 1945,

22000
2000
1945-ben pedig
00:39
he publishedközzétett an articlecikk in a magazinemagazin calledhívott AtlanticAtlanti-óceán MonthlyHavi.
10
24000
3000
00:42
And the articlecikk was calledhívott "As We MayMájus Think."
11
27000
3000
Az volt a címe, hogy "Ahogy gondolkodhatnánk"
00:45
And what VannevarVannevar BushBush was sayingmondás
12
30000
2000
Vannevar Bush ebben azt állította,
00:47
was the way we use informationinformáció is brokentörött.
13
32000
3000
hogy nem jó, ahogy az információt használjuk.
00:50
We don't work in termsfeltételek of librarieskönyvtárak

3000
Nem könyvtárakban
00:53

és index-rendszerekben gondolkodunk.

Az agy asszociációk alapján működik.
00:57
With one itemtétel in its thought, it snapsfényképez instantlyazonnal to the nextkövetkező itemtétel.
17
42000
3000
Egyik gondolatról közvetlenül egy másikra ugrik.
01:00
And the way informationinformáció is structuredszerkesztett
18
45000
2000
És az, ahogy az információt rendszerezzük,
01:02
is totallyteljesen incapablealkalmatlan of keepingtartás up with this processfolyamat.
19
47000
3000
teljesen képtelen ezzel a folyamattal lépést tartani.
01:05
And so he suggestedjavasolt a machinegép,
20
50000
2000
Ezért egy gépet javasolt,
01:07
and he calledhívott it the memexmemex.
21
52000
2000
és memexnek hívta.
01:09
And the memexmemex would linklink informationinformáció,
22
54000
2000
A memex összekötötte volna az információt,
01:11
one piecedarab of informationinformáció to a relatedösszefüggő piecedarab of informationinformáció and so forthtovább.
23
56000
3000
01:14
Now this was in 1945.
24
59000
2000
Ez 1945-ben volt.
01:16
A computerszámítógép in those daysnapok
25
61000
2000
A számítógép akkoriban
01:18
was something the secrettitok servicesszolgáltatások used to use for codekód breakingtörés.
26
63000
3000
01:21
And nobodysenki knewtudta anything about it.
27
66000
2000
És senki nem tudott róla semmit.
01:23
So this was before the computerszámítógép was inventedfeltalált.
28
68000
2000
Tehát ez a számítógép feltalálása előtt volt.
01:25
And he proposedjavasolt this machinegép calledhívott the memexmemex.
29
70000
2000
És ezt a memex nevű gépet javasolta.
01:27
And he had a platformemelvény where you linkedösszekapcsolt informationinformáció to other informationinformáció,
30
72000
3000
01:30
and then you could call it up at will.
31
75000
2000
és tetszés szerint elő lehetett hívni.
01:32
So spinningfonás forwardelőre,
32
77000
2000
Előreugorva az időben,
01:34
one of the guys who readolvas this articlecikk was a guy calledhívott DougDoug EngelbartEngelbart,
33
79000
2000
01:36
and he was a U.S. AirLevegő ForceErő officertiszt.
34
81000
2000
és ő tiszt volt az Amerikai Légierőben.
01:38
And he was readingolvasás it in theirazok librarykönyvtár in the FarMessze EastKeleti.
35
83000
3000
És egy könytárban olvasta ezt a Távol-Keleten.
01:41
And he was so inspiredihletett by this articlecikk,
36
86000
2000
És annyira inspirálta ez a cikk,
01:43
it kindkedves of directedirányított the restpihenés of his life.
37
88000
2000
hogy tulajdonképpen meghatározta a hátralevő életét.
01:45
And by the mid-középső-60s, he was ableképes to put this into actionakció
38
90000
3000
A '60-as évek közepére ezt át tudta ültetni a gyakorlatba,
01:48
when he workeddolgozott at the StanfordStanford ResearchKutatási LabLabor in CaliforniaCalifornia.
39
93000
3000
amikor a Stanford Kutató Laborban dolgozott Kaliforniában.
01:52
He builtépült a systemrendszer.
40
97000
2000
Épített egy rendszert.
01:54
The systemrendszer was designedtervezett to augmentfokozza a humanemberi intelligenceintelligencia, it was calledhívott.
41
99000
3000
01:57
And in a premonitionmegérzés of today'sa mai worldvilág
42
102000
3000
És a mintegy előképeként a mai világ
02:00
of cloudfelhő computingszámítástechnika and softwaresszoftverek of serviceszolgáltatás,
43
105000
2000
szoftver szolgáltatásaiank a felhőben,
02:02
his systemrendszer was calledhívott NLSNLS
44
107000
2000
a rendszerét NLS-nek hívták,
02:04
for oN-LineoN-Line SystemRendszer.
45
109000
2000
az oN-Line System rövidítéseként.
02:06
And this is DougDoug EngelbartEngelbart.
46
111000
2000
És ez Doug Engelbart.
02:08
He was givingígy a presentationbemutatás at the FallŐszi JointKözös ComputerSzámítógép ConferenceKonferencia
47
113000
3000
Egy előadást tartott a Fall Joint Computer konferencián
02:11
in 1968.
48
116000
3000
1968-ban.
02:14
What he showedkimutatta, --
49
119000
2000
Amit bemutatott --
02:16
he satült on a stageszínpad like this, and he demonstratedigazolták this systemrendszer.
50
121000
3000
02:19
He had his headfej micmic like I've got.
51
124000
2000
Ilyen fej mikrofonja volt, mint nekem.
02:21
And he worksművek this systemrendszer.
52
126000
2000
És dolgozik ezen a rendszeren.
02:23
And you can see, he's workingdolgozó betweenközött documentsdokumentumok
53
128000
2000
És láthatják, hogy dokumentumok,
02:25
and graphicsgrafika and so forthtovább.
54
130000
2000
grafikák és hasonlók között dolgozik.
02:27
And he's drivingvezetés it all
55
132000
2000
És ezt az egészet
02:29
with this platformemelvény here,
56
134000
2000
ez a platform hajtja itt,
02:31
with a five-fingeröt ujjas keyboardbillentyűzet
57
136000
2000
egy ötujjas billentyűzettel
02:33
and the world'svilág first computerszámítógép mouseegér,
58
138000
2000
és a világ első egerével,
02:35
whichmelyik he speciallyspeciálisan designedtervezett in ordersorrend to do this systemrendszer.
59
140000
2000
02:37
So this is where the mouseegér camejött from as well.
60
142000
2000
Tehát a számítógép egér is innen származik.
02:39
So this is DougDoug EngelbartEngelbart.
61
144000
2000
Szóval ez Doug Engelbart.
02:41
The troublebaj with DougDoug Engelbart'sEngelbart systemrendszer
62
146000
2000
Az volt a baj Doug Engelbart rendszerével,
02:43
was that the computersszámítógépek in those daysnapok costköltség severalszámos millionmillió poundsfont.
63
148000
3000
hogy a számítógépek akkoriban több millió dollárba kerültek.
02:46
So for a personalszemélyes computerszámítógép,
64
151000
2000
Egy személyi számítógép olyan volt,
02:48
a fewkevés millionmillió poundsfont was like havingamelynek a personalszemélyes jetsugárhajtású planerepülőgép;
65
153000
2000
mint egy több milliós magánrepülőgép,
02:50
it wasn'tnem volt really very practicalgyakorlati.
66
155000
2000
nem volt túl praktikus.
02:52
But spinpörgés on to the 80s
67
157000
2000
De ugorjunk előre a '80-as évekre,
02:54
when personalszemélyes computersszámítógépek did arrivemegérkezik,
68
159000
2000
amikor befutottak a személyi számítógépek,
02:56
then there was roomszoba for this kindkedves of systemrendszer on personalszemélyes computersszámítógépek.
69
161000
2000
02:58
And my companyvállalat, OWLBAGOLY
70
163000
2000
És a cégem, az OWL,
03:00
builtépült a systemrendszer calledhívott GuideÚtmutató for the AppleAlma MacintoshMacintosh.
71
165000
3000
03:03
And we deliveredszállított the world'svilág first hypertextHypertext systemrendszer.
72
168000
4000
És létrehoztuk a világ első hiperszöveg rendszerét.
03:07
And this begankezdett to get a headfej of steamgőz.
73
172000
2000
És ez kezdett beindulni.
03:09
AppleAlma introducedbemutatott a thing calledhívott HyperCardHyperCard,
74
174000
2000
Az Apple bemutatott valamit, amit HyperCardnak hívtak,
03:11
and they madekészült a bitbit of a fussfelhajtás about it.
75
176000
2000
és elég nagy felhajtást csináltak körülötte.
03:13
They had a 12-page-oldal supplementkiegészítés in the WallFal StreetUtca JournalNapló the day it launchedindított.
76
178000
3000
03:16
The magazinesfolyóiratok startedindult to coverborító it.
77
181000
2000
Az újságok elkezdtek írni róla.
03:18
ByteByte magazinemagazin and CommunicationsKommunikáció at the ACMACM
78
183000
2000
03:20
had specialkülönleges issueskérdések coveringlefedő hypertextHypertext.
79
185000
2000
különkiadásokat jelentetett meg a hiperszövegről.
03:22
We developedfejlett a PCPC versionváltozat of this producttermék
80
187000
2000
Kifejlesztettük ennek a terméknek a PC verzióját
03:24
as well as the MacintoshMacintosh versionváltozat.
81
189000
2000
a Macintosh verzió mellett.
03:26
And our PCPC versionváltozat becamelett quiteegészen matureérett.
82
191000
3000
És a PC rendszerünk egészen kifejlett lett.
03:29
These are some examplespéldák of this systemrendszer in actionakció in the latekéső 80s.
83
194000
3000
Ez néhány példa a rendszerről működés közben a '80-as évekből.
03:33
You were ableképes to deliverszállít documentsdokumentumok, were ableképes to do it over networkshálózatok.
84
198000
3000
Dokumentumokat lehetett küldeni, hálózatokon keresztül.
03:36
We developedfejlett a systemrendszer suchilyen
85
201000
2000
Kifejlesztettünk egy rendszert
03:38
that it had a markupKorrektúra languagenyelv basedszékhelyű on htmlHTML.
86
203000
2000
HTML alapú markup nyelvben.
03:40
We calledhívott it hmlHML: hypertextHypertext markupKorrektúra languagenyelv.
87
205000
3000
HTML: hiperszöveges jelölőnyelvnek hívtuk.
03:43
And the systemrendszer was capableképes of doing
88
208000
2000
És a rendszer képes volt
03:45
very, very largenagy documentationdokumentáció systemsrendszerek over computerszámítógép networkshálózatok.
89
210000
4000
nagyon nagy dokumentációkra számítógépes hálózatokon keresztül.
03:49
So I tookvett this systemrendszer to a tradekereskedelmi showelőadás in VersaillesVersailles nearközel ParisPárizs
90
214000
3000
03:52
in latekéső NovemberNovember 1990.
91
217000
3000
Párizs közelében, 1990. késő novemberében.
03:55
And I was approachedmegközelítette by a niceszép youngfiatal man calledhívott TimTim Berners-LeeBerners-Lee
92
220000
2000
És megközelített egy kedves fiatalember, Tim Berners-Lee,
03:57
who said, "Are you IanIan RitchieRitchie?" and I said, "Yeah."
93
222000
2000
aki azt kérdezte: "Ön Ian Ritchi?", azt feleltem: "Igen."
03:59
And he said, "I need to talk to you."
94
224000
2000
És azt mondta: "Beszélnem kell magával."
04:01
And he told me about his proposedjavasolt systemrendszer calledhívott the WorldVilág WideSzéles WebWeb.
95
226000
3000
04:04
And I thought, well, that's got a pretentiouselbizakodott namenév,
96
229000
3000
04:07
especiallykülönösen sincemivel the wholeegész systemrendszer ranfutott on his computerszámítógép in his officehivatal.
97
232000
3000
04:10
But he was completelyteljesen convincedmeggyőződéses that his WorldVilág WideSzéles WebWeb
98
235000
3000
04:13
would take over the worldvilág one day.
99
238000
2000
egy nap meghódítja a világot.
04:15
And he triedmegpróbálta to persuademeggyőzni me to writeír the browserböngésző for it,
100
240000
2000
04:17
because his systemrendszer didn't have any graphicsgrafika or fontsbetűtípusok or layoutelrendezés or anything;
101
242000
3000
04:20
it was just plainegyszerű textszöveg.
102
245000
2000
csak sima szöveg volt.
04:22
I thought, well, you know, interestingérdekes,
103
247000
3000
Azt gondoltam, nos, érdekes,
04:25
but a guy from CERNCERN, he's not going to do this.
104
250000
2000
04:27
So we didn't do it.
105
252000
2000
Szóval nem vállaltuk el.
04:29
In the nextkövetkező couplepárosít of yearsévek,
106
254000
2000
A következő néhány évben
04:31
the hypertextHypertext communityközösség didn't recognizeelismerik him eitherbármelyik.
107
256000
2000
a hiperszöveg közösség sem ismerte el őt.
04:33
In 1992, his paperpapír was rejectedelutasított for the HypertextHypertext ConferenceKonferencia.
108
258000
3000
1992-ben a Hiperszöveg Konferencia elutasította az előadását.
04:36
In 1993,
109
261000
3000
1993-ban
04:39
there was a tableasztal at the conferencekonferencia in SeattleSeattle,
110
264000
2000
volt egy asztal a konferencián Seattle-ben,
04:41
and a guy calledhívott MarcMarc AndreessenAndreessen
111
266000
2000
és egy Marc Andreessen nevű pasas
04:43
was demonstratingbemutatását, his little browserböngésző for the WorldVilág WideSzéles WebWeb.
112
268000
3000
mutatta be a kis böngészőjét a Világhálóra.
04:46
And I saw it, and I thought, yepJa, that's it.
113
271000
2000
04:48
And the very nextkövetkező yearév, in 1994, we had the conferencekonferencia here in EdinburghEdinburgh,
114
273000
3000
04:51
and I had no oppositionellenzék in havingamelynek TimTim Berners-LeeBerners-Lee as the keynotealaphang speakerhangszóró.
115
276000
4000
04:55
So that putshelyezi me in prettyszép illustriousjeles companyvállalat.
116
280000
2000
Ezzel egy elég előkelő társaságba kerültem.
04:57
